The journey begins early in the morning from Entebbe, a charming town located on the shores of Lake Victoria. You’re picked up from your hotel or residence and begin the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the southwestern part of Uganda.
As you drive, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes, including rolling hills, lush forests, and vibrant villages. You’ll have the opportunity to see local people going about their daily lives, including farmers tending to their crops and children playing in the streets.
After a drive of approximately 8-10 hours, you’ll arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. You’ll check-in at your lodge, which will be your home for the night.
In the evening, you’ll embark on the Batwa Trail, a guided hike that takes you through the forest and offers a glimpse into the lives of the Batwa people, an indigenous tribe that has lived in the forest for centuries. You’ll learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life, and have the opportunity to see the forest from a unique perspective.

The second day of your journey begins early in the morning with a hearty breakfast at your lodge. You’ll then set off on the gorilla trek, a guided hike that takes you deep into the forest in search of the majestic mountain gorillas.
The gorilla trek is a challenging but rewarding experience that offers a unique opportunity to see these incredible creatures up close. You’ll be guided by experienced rangers who will help you navigate the forest and ensure your safety. After the gorilla trek, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
In the late afternoon, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning lake located in the southwestern part of Uganda. The lake is known for its crystal-clear waters, surrounding hills, and vibrant birdlife.
You’ll check-in at your lodge, which is located on the shores of the lake. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views.

Wake up early morning for heavy breakfast and prepare for your journey back to Kampala before 6pm.
