Our Terms & Conditions: Kindly take some of your time to pass through Our Terms & Conditions on our Services . Please read carefully, understand them and by asking us to confirm your booking, we assume that you have had an opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions and agree to them.

1.Booking your trip and details of payment

Booking. If you want a booking please follow the procedure shown on our website or email us. Find us at info@umarellavoyagesafaris.com or umarellavoyagesafaris@gmail.com and ask for an offline application form. This form must be filled and completed by each person willing to travel. Once the booking form is completed, it should be sent back to us..

After we have confirmed the availability of your chosen arrangement and you book within the pertinent time, your booking will be treated as a contract between us. But before confirming a safari, the client should inform us of any special supplicate. For example diet, medical need, disability or any other requirement, we will try to meet them if possible.

Umarella Voyage Safaris can still make adjustments after booking. If it is possible we can arrange for changes made in your itinerary after booking. However note that the dates for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking cannot be adjusted after booking.

Trip prices include;

Umarella Voyage Safaris provides ground transportation, accommodation bookings, safari guide, entry costs to all parks mentioned in the itinerary, gorilla/chimpanzee permits and other services in cooperation with independent suppliers.



  1. As per Our Terms & Conditions you will be asked a down payment receipt of 30% of the total price. It is paid per person in connection with making a booking confirmation. (this include payment of gorilla permits which needs a full advance payment in order to make the reservation).  This price can still be a little higher than above percentage if you have for example; luxury accommodation, flights and other special activities that need to be paid in advance.
  2. The payment balance should be paid not later than six weeks prior to departure unless agreed otherwise
  • The bookings made within 42 days before arrival must be fully paid at the confirmation time. ( Umarella Voyage Safaris has a right to cancel a booking in case the payment is not received in accordance with the above, unless a greed otherwise).


  • Our Terms & Conditions on the Payment means 

You can make your payment by VISA credit card, bank transfer cash to our dollar account in Uganda. All fees for transfer is fully paid by the client. You can still follow our payment link provided on our website to make your payment.

NOTE, credit card transactions should be paid 8weeks prior to the start of your safari.

Course of the Tour

The animals are in their natural habitats.  And therefore,  Umarella voyage Safaris won’t  guarantee on good sighting during game viewing or trekking. For that reason, you must be vigilant while viewing the animals. Our guides and rangers will also do their best to make sure you get a great experience. Umarella Voyage Safaris reserves the right to refuse any person from participating in any tour. This is in the opinion if the participant behaves in a way that can likely cause damage or inconvenience to any third party. For example damage to property or to environment and ecosystem. No refunds will be made and Umarella Voyage Safaris will not be liable for expenses incurred as a result of the termination.

Umarella Voyage Safaris makes sure that our cars are in very good condition. However, despite meeting poor road condition that are out of our control. These that can result into punctures, breakdowns or damage to the vehicle but for this no liability is accepted. During your trip, the experienced English guides/driver is a key part of your trip and decisions on all matters such as route to be taken is final.

Cancellation by us

It is un avoidable for us to sometimes cancel confirmed bookings. We always endeavor to avoid canceling. However we must reserve the right to do so. We shall not cancel your confirmed holiday less than 60 days before departure. This is unless we are forced to do so as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. The consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care.

However, If we cancel your holiday (except where you have failed to make a payment) we shall offer you the choice of purchasing an alternative holiday from us. It is of a similar standard to that originally booked if available. If the chosen alternative is less expensive than your original holiday, we shall refund the difference but if it is more expensive, we shall ask you to pay the difference.

Alternatively, you are entitled to a full refund of all monies you have paid to us. But we wont be able to refund for gorilla and chimpanzee permits because once permits are issued by UWA, no refund for the issued permits and these are booked in advance.

Cancellation and re-fund by You

Cancelling of a booking must be notified to us in writing or email us as soon as possible and this shall be effective on the actual date we receive it. The following cancellation charges are payable

60 days or more prior to arrival                           25%

59-32 days prior to arrival                                    35%

31-8 days prior to arrival                                        65%

7 days prior to arrival                                         75%%

6-0 days prior to arrival                                           100%

Gorilla permits and air tickets are excluded from the percentage above and are 100% non-


Note it that no refunds will be made for any unused services, late arrival or failure of any member to show up for a trip.


If any unlikely event appears and that you have any reason to complain during the safari, you must immediately inform your trip guide. If any complaint or problem is not resolved to your satisfaction by the trip guide, you can freely contact us using the contact details we have provided to you during the trip. All suggestions are much appreciated in order to keep improving the quality of our services though Umarella Voyage Safaris always ensures that we exceed the expectations in every area of the tour arrangements.


During the time of booking, you are taken to confirm that you are in good health, physically capable of taking all aspects of the trip. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that proper medical precaution have been taken (immunization and so on).


We promise to make sure that the trip arrangements we have agreed to perform as part of our contract with you are made and provided with reasonable skill and care.

But Umarella Voyage Safaris cannot accept or pay compensation for unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control.  For example; flight delays/ cancellations, strikes, riots epidemics, road closure, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, boarder closure, fire, weather conditions or mechanical problems to transport that are caused by bad roads and many others that are beyond our control.

Travel insurance

It is so essential that you have adequate and appropriate cover for your trip. Therefore, it is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for particular needs.
